2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet

During the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) Mercedes-Benz was proud to announce their two hybrid models, including the S400 Hybrid, which went on sale late last summer. Their other vehicle is the ML Hybrid, which because of the type of batteries it uses can only be leased. Mercedes also announced that there the E300 Diesel Hybrid will go on sale as a 2011 model. There are also Mercedes electric cars being produced in small volumes. These will go to customers in Germany but will come here later in 2010. Yet, what caught everybody’s eye was the new version of the E-Class lineup, the E-Class Cabriolet. When the top is down, press a button and there’s an aerodynamic device that changes the flow of the air over the top, which makes sitting in the back seat more enjoyable. Introduced last year, the new-generation E-Class is leading sales within its segment. The convertible’s job is to add momentum in the coming year.
