2006 SEMA International Auto Salon
Halloween came early this year during the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) International Auto Salon in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Picture a sea of flipped whips from old classics to new age beauties, with plenty of treats both inside and out. From plasma screens underneath the hood to waterfalls streaming from the rear interior, each whip at the show was a creative wonder.
SEMA continues to be the guru in promotion and support of the new-age aftermarket styling of vehicles in the US market. Their numbers continue to grow at record pace with 10,000 plus attendees at each of SEMA's national events. The popularity of tricked out whips is sure to surpass its reputation of being a fad, while in turn quickly becoming the standard in aftermarket performance and styling for all genres of vehicle lovers. Who would have ever imagined Grandpa enjoying his Sunday drive pushing his 1948 Tucker loaded with a booming stereo system and 28" wheels along with an Xbox or Playstation for the grandchildren? SEMA did!
