The 2007 Urban Bike Tour - Howard University Homecoming: The Final Stop
It was time for our unprecedented tour to come to an end and what better place than Howard University’s homecoming. The streets were filled with thousands of people consisting of alumni, visitors, celebrities, cars and bikes. We set up camp at the infamous McDonalds on Georgia Ave. across from our extended family at WPGC to prepare for the festivities. Throughout the day we gave away free Shell gift gas cards and New Era fitted hats while collecting entries for the Dodge Grand Prize giveaway of $500! Needless to say, we kept a crowd in our area.
A special word of thanks goes to Dodge for providing the beastly Ram Quad Cab 1500 and Shell V-Power, proving all gasolines are not equal. We also want to recognize MOPAR, Good Year, D’Vinci Wheels, Katzkin Leather, E&G Custom Grilles, VitaminWater, New Era and Revision Auto.
All in all our tour reached more than 80,000 attendees (not counting the hundreds of thousands of online viewers) with the goal of showing wheather you ride-out on a chopper or sport bike, the Urban Bike community is alive and thriving.
