What a magnificent auto show Geneva is. From the moment Automotive Rhythms set foot in Palexpo to the time we left, our expectations were overachieved with an onslaught of news and product releases from auto companies, bike manufacturers, tire suppliers and of course dance schools. Yes, there was probably more fancy footwork than tech talk. Geneva is easy to navigate and offers excitement from not only your favorite brands, but also from exotic and newly discovered companies all competing for attention. The land of Swiss watch making took center stage with announcements from the likes of Rolls-Royce who debuted the industry’s largest electric vehicle; Koenisegg Agera R and its hyper roof box; Can-Am’s concept HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) Spyder roadster; a new hybrid Porsche Panamera; a plug-in electric Volvo; a quirky beach car from Rinspeed called the BamBoo, and a carbon fiber Lamborghini that’s going to change the way people evaluate speed. It goes by the name Aventador LP 700-4 and blitzes offenses with a 6.5-liter V12 that pumps out 700 raging bulls and runs 2.9 sec from 0 to 62!

Automotive tech is an interesting background. Automotive technology schools tend to be the best way to get in this business. Cars will always be around so there are jobs everywhere. I learned regarding automotive lifts, ppg automotive paint, automotive electrical supplies, and more in school. Now I’m making use of it every day and I love what I do.
