I Love Reggae music so this news is right on point!

United by music to create a better world and spread Bob Marley’s vision of One Love, One World, the family of Bob Marley, in partnership with HoMedics, unveiled its first collection of audio electronics products from The House of Marley at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. MARLEY was created to deliver premium quality, eco-conscious products that embody Bob Marley and the Marley family’s values of equality, unity, authenticity, sustainability and charity.  The products have four guiding principles: superior quality, sustainable sourcing, cause mindedness and waste consciousness. The wood used in the products is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. “Wood is perfect for sound. If you listen to the bass, [you hear that it] carriers a lot of impact,” said Rohan Marley, son of the late Bob Marley.  MARLEY is comprised of three collections — Jammin’, Freedom, and Destiny — and features earbuds, headphones, docking stations, speakers and boom boxes.

Keeping in line with Bob Marley’s charitable nature, a portion of the proceeds from each product sold is given to the Marley family’s charity.  “The House of Marley and the MARLEY audio products that bear our family name were created to spread our father’s music and vision to a new generation,” said Cedella Marley, Bob Marley’s daughter.

Between the music, the food and the heritage I just can’t seem to get enough, just as Jamaicans can’t seem to get enough of cars and bikes. Especially, the race type. No wonder  the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, is so emphatic about Ferrari and its 458 Italia and 599 GTB Fiorano which he drove on the circuit of the Prancing Horse. (more…)
