DEALERS NOW OFFER FORD & LINCOLN / MERCURY CUSTOMERS 3DCARBON STYLING ACCESORIES

3dCarbon, well known in the aftermarket industry for producing award winning body styling products is now the first and only company that offers a Ford authorized body kit. This precedent was announced at the National Ford/Lincoln-Mercury 2007 – Intro Dealer Show held in Las Vegas on July 31st at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Official Ford Product's by 3dCarbon for the Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan are currently available to dealers, while the package for the Lincoln MKZ will be completed soon. Due to the quality, design and ease of installation, 3dCarbon kits are the preferred choice of dealers and customers alike. 3dCarbon is the recipient of both the 2004 and the 2005 SEMA Ford “Best of Show” awards.

The body kits offer 3dCarbon's factory matching Ford Warranty coverage. The Fusion, Milan, and MKZ kits are produced in High Pressure Injected Molded polyurethane and have been rigorously tested to meet or exceed FMVSS safety standards for bumpers. Compliance testing assures these products meet OEM levels for durability, fit and consistency, a standard few aftermarket products can match.

The current products that are licensed have been developed specifically for model years 2006 and 2007. The popular “Euro Series” four and five piece body kits are available to dealers for the Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, as well as the Lincoln MXZ. All of the “Euro Series” packages give the cars a lower look, and clean design, without making sacrifices in drivability.

These products allow the dealerships to engage in the action of the $34 Billion aftermarket industry. Accessories and appearance products make up 58% of those sales. This will provide a unique opportunity to capture additional sales opportunities without additional investment. While the dealer network is starting to make inroads into this market, there are still large opportunities for dealers to expand beyond where they are today.

3dCarbon has over the years shared a healthy working relationship with Ford. The well-publicized SEMA cars and Trucks developed by Billy Longfellow and Ernie Bunnell, owners of 3dCarbon, will now provide a true spillover effect to the dealers. Customers who are enticed by the fantastic SEMA cars they see in magazines, on television, movies, and the Internet, will now be able to turn to the Ford dealers for a similar package.

The environmental and automotive influences that the Ford design team encounters in Southern California are shared by 3dCarbon, residing less than a dozen miles away from their West Coast design studio. The result is body styling components that look like an extension of the original design instead of competing with it. The result is a car that looks special, without the trendy, here today - gone tomorrow, feel to it.

Additional styling products currently being developed are the Ford Mustang GT “Eleanor Style” grille, and accessories for the Lincoln LT and the Ford F-150 Lariat, all for the 2004-2007 models. In addition, keep an eye out for the stainless steel grilles being built for the Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ.
