Inspired by the exploits of the “Bentley Boys” at the famous Brooklands racetrack in the 1920s, the new Bentley Brooklands Coupé captures all the style, power and splendor of that era. The Brooklands Coupé will boast a strictly limited lifetime production of 550 cars.
Bentley’s rich heritage provided the stimulus for the design team to create this gorgeous grand touring coupé. Beautiful flowing lines pay tribute to the traditional coach-building skills synonymous with Bentley. This is a large car that will quickly sell out its limited production.
The Brookland’s design requires specialist coach-building techniques. The “floating” rear window with its lower edge sitting well above the upper edge of the trunk lid provides a flowing line to the back of the car. This feat was accomplished by individually hand-welding the rear quarter panels to the “C” pillars.
Powering the Brooklands is the most powerful V8 ever developed by Bentley, a twin-turbo, 6.75-liter unit developing 530-horsepower and 774 pound-feet of torque.
Bentley’s renowned craftsmanship skills with wood veneers and leather hides were employed to ensure that every hand-assembled Brooklands benefits from the same traditional coach-building techniques that help make Bentley a bespoke marque.
Inside, the Brooklands features sumptuous, hand-crafted luxury. Traditional round gauges are enveloped in fine leathers, and the Bentley signature push-pull airflow regulators remind you that the Brooklands is a true Bentley. Other interior highlights include aluminum foot pedals and footrest, electronically operated seats in the rear, and abundant head and legroom for all four occupants.
