Automotive Rhythms (AR) teamed up with Porsche in the ultimate land of the who's who: Miami, Florida for Super Bowl XLIV and the Porsche Panamera Experience.  Influencers, celebrities and trendsetters were offered an opportunity to get up close and personal with the all-new Panamera with test drives and a VIP transport service for famous faces and notables like DJ Clue, Michael Vick, Fonzworth Bentley, Nas, and Rick Ross, to name a few. Testers were impressed by the sleek design and ferocious power of the Panamera and its star status shine was evident at city hotspots and tastemaker events leading up to the big game. Here’s what happens when AR is let loose with a fleet of eight Panamera Turbos for five days of mixing, mingling, styling and profiling.

Day 1 Welcome to Miami

Fancy cars, glamour, luxury and an endless sea of "the beautiful people" are the elements that make Miami a symbol of success. So it's fitting that AR kicked off the Superbowl weekend with a new metaphor for the good life, the Porsche Panamera. The sheer whip appeal of this sleek sedan caused triple takes and drew crowds of envious gawkers everywhere on South Beach. The newly designed four door sedan features a silhouette true to the family linage but with distinct curves that drove the men wild.

Well not just men, we learned the hard way that the Bi-Xenon headlights, (standard on all models) serves almost like a bat man signal in the night announcing the Panamera's presence. The soft glow of the adaptive light system with LED technology builds anticipation of approach and at the MOVES Party at the Gulfstream Resort and Casino our arrival amid the Bentleys and Lamborghini's earned the posh ride its own set of groupies as a standout in a crowd of luxury brands. (We had one lady follow us all the way to the event because she really believed we must be famous to drive a car like that!)
The exclusive event was packed with NFL stars past and present like Terrell Owens, Deion Sanders, Vernon Davis, Lawrence Taylor and Ray Lewis and mainstream celebs like actress Melissa Ford brought a little “Hollywood” glamour to the party. Singer Melanie Fiona performed for the crowd; while models with Superbowl inspired body paint circulated the room.

Despite all the star power inside the party, the real show was outside on the plaza where a red carpet of high end vehicles were on display for the enjoyment of attendees. Even among the
uppercrust, the Porsche garnered lingering and longing stares but how can you blame them? This car was years in the making and it does not disappoint! The sexy, sporty vehicle is more than eye candy, the Panamera has an aggressive vibe that makes you feel like this car can handle the road yet keep it sexy while doing so. Our arrival and departure for our first event of the weekend was paparazzi inducing with many patrons asking questions and vying for a chance to get up
close and personal with the Panamera.

Day Two Moving and Shaking

The Fountain Blue Hotel served as a glamorous backdrop for AR's interview with NFL players and Pro Bowlers Josh Cribs, DeSean Jackson and Leonard Weaver. When asked of his thoughts on the Panamera, Cribs said: "It's sleek, it's one of those cars you roll up on the scene or the club and everybody looks. You could park this car on the curb and the bouncers would come out and let you in!"  Weaver also echoed Cribs enthusiasm for the Panamera: "It's smooth, it has the look like the Bentley with the backside of it then it has that beautiful, elegant drive type feel that makes the car off the chain from the get go."

After chatting it up with the athletes, a chance meeting with Gil Dezer, President of Trump-Dezer Development and partner to Donald Trump led to an exclusive tour of his personal fleet of over one hundred vehicles in a custom garage in the belly of the Trump Towers.

Later, the Panamera earned the team some extra red carpet treatment in the Black Label gifting suites before parking it at the Sean John store for the Rick Ross appearance and autograph signing. The Panamera set the tone of exclusivity as fans lined up for the chance to greet the rapper and check out the features that make the Panamera a star in its own right. Byron Kirkland of Sean John was a gracious host making sure every aspect of the event went smoothly and Nick Storm of Blueflame and Mike Black of Blac Label made appearances at the event.
