2010 Ford Product & Technology Preview

While introducing its latest vehicles, the biggest story with Ford & Lincoln is the addition of their new EcoBoost engine offers a no-compromise solution for customers who want the power of a larger engine without sacrificing the fuel economy of a smaller one. First to be introduced is the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6, which delivers the power of a conventional V-8 engine while maintaining V-6 fuel economy. The EcoBoost V-6 engine combines direct injection with twin turbochargers to create a system that uses less gasoline to deliver more power.
