2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG: Officially, mechanically crazy!

In the supercar realm, aside from independent makers like McLaren, Saleen, Spyker and the like, most exotic machinery can be attributed to the Italians – Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini. So over the course of just three years, the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG went from concept to the pre-production cars we recently drove at the international press launch.
