Bearing the same name as the original Vanquish, the 2014 model sits proudly atop of Aston Martin’s sports car line-up. This breath-taking hand-built (250 man hours to complete) supercar represents the summit of current Aston Martin design and engineering. Generating 565-horsepower from the enhanced 6.0-liter V12 engine, the British coupe runs 62 mph from standstill in 4.1 seconds. Top speed is set at 183 mph. Shifting is enabled by Aston Martin’s Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic gearbox while its rigid VH structure is formed from bonded aluminium and carbon-fiber. Aston Martin is currently taking orders for the $279,995 Vanquish with first deliveries coming in March/April 2013.
