I had an amazing holiday week test-driving the festive 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport SV. By now I’m sure most of you have seen Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the Nissan Star Wars commercials. Anxious moviegoers like myself gave the box office a nice bump for 2017 as they flocked in droves to see the epic film. My favorite co-branded modification is the Nissan Rogue Poe Dameron’s X-wing with BB-8 which Automotive Rhythms will have on display at the 2018 Washington Auto Show. So yes, I did feel like a Jedi behind the wheel and during a special screening hosted by Nissan in Alexandria, Virginia.

The crossover not only packed in all the goodies and gifts that my family enjoyed opening, but it was also adorned with the necessary safety features to make commutes between destinations fluid and secure. Especially when a little snowfall hit the region. The dual back-up cameras displaying rearview imagery and 360 degree vehicle angles are game changers when parking in crowded lots or simply pulling out of your driveway. Equipped with a touchscreen multimedia system, connecting smartphones through Bluetooth or using the growing popular Apple CarPlay is a simple task. One feature that stuck out to me was the secondary compartment in the cargo area to keep items crush-proof while still packing in ample amounts of shipment needed for your voyage. Power comes from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine which attains approximately 32-highway mpg and helps this Sport SV become super road trip friendly.

Starting at a pocket-friendly $23,240 the 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport SV is a great compact SUV choice to consider for your family needs.
