In Plano, Texas, Toyota hosted its annual HQ Confidential (HQC) event, which is essentially an in-house auto show. Over one hundred automotive media publications attended for test drives and future model announcements. The product range—from race cars to EVs to overlanding SUVs—was diverse and full of tech-savvy amenities.
This year, HQC consisted of track runs in the 300-horsepower GR Corolla and off-roading at Eagles Canyon Raceway with almost every Toyota SUV and truck model, including the 4Runner, Land Cruiser, Tacoma, and Sequoia. The 4Runner Trailhunter was our favorite as we traversed steep hills, around tall mounds, and through muddy waters like gators. Also on deck was a group of TRD Pro trims in the new WaveMaker hue, akin to a bright turquoise.

The 2026 Toyota RAV4 was also presented at a special digital sports venue, Cosm Dallas. The midsize SUV receives a major overhaul inside and out, featuring new electrified-only powertrains, a sharp, curvilinear design, and several trim specifications. While the internal changes are impressive, the exterior is equally noteworthy.
Moreover, Toyota discussed the first-ever bZ Woodland incorporating standard AWD with 375-horsepower, the latest Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) C-HR with up to 290 miles of range, the sporty GR86 Yuzu Special Edition available in Yuzu Yellow, and the impressive 2026 Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition that is available with a GT4 Style Package which includes:

- Exclusive matte colors: Burnout and Undercover
- GT4-inspired side graphic on the exterior
- Matte-finished carbon fiber ducktail rear spoiler
- Matte-black rear Supra emblem
- Red mirror caps
The three-day immersion experience with Toyota’s full lineup reminded us of the Japanese brand’s many auto options and what to expect regarding future innovations.
