To understand what the 2012 CLS-Class was all about team Automotive Rhythms ventured to the Bardessono Hotel in Yountville, California where the sun is happy, the wine endearing, the vineyards majestic and the vehicles unforgettable. My partner in crime — Camilo Alfaro — and I choose a Storm Red CLS 550 and journeyed on the full-day test drive in the geothermally active Napa region. I was especially enamored with the 4.6-liter biturbo V8 with its 402 horsepower and 443 lb.-ft of torque from 1,800 rpm.
