All-Electric 2024 Kia EV9 Overview

Let’s introduce you to the 2024 Kia EV9, Kia’s all-new, all-electric three-row SUV. As you can see, the EV9 is designed for the future and incorporates defining edges with a curvilinear physique.

The Dual-motor EV9 GT-Line puts out 379-horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque, hits 0-to-60 mph in 5 seconds, and gives EV owners an EPA-estimated range of 270 miles. Select the Light Long Range model for a 304-mile all-electric range. Sticking to true SUV capabilities, the EV9 features available torque-vectoring dual-motor AWD and can tow 5,000 pounds. Expect 7.8 inches of ground clearance and up to 81.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row.

Kia has elevated the futuristic SUV with its next-generation interior material strategy and styling, including the dual-display cockpit. The cabin is adorned with partially recycled materials, an eco-conscious alternative to traditional leather trim, showcasing the Korean automaker’s commitment to sustainability. We also respect the fact that over-the-air updates allow you to upgrade vehicle system controllers and infotainment features without going to a dealer.

Keep in mind that not all models are all-wheel-drive. The Light and Light Long Range models are Rear-Wheel-Drive and have a single electric motor, while the Wind, Land, and GT-Line are AWD and have Dual motors.

Pricing starts at $54,900 for the introductory EV9 Light model and can increase to $73,900 for the top-of-the-line EV9 GT-line model.
