Arriving this Fall, the hearts of sports car aficionados will beat a little faster with the introduction of BMW’s 2012 650i Coupe. Its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine with High Precision direct injection develops a maximum 400 horsepower between 5,500 and 6,400 rpm, and makes peak torque of 450 lb-ft between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm. The engine can be paired with either BMW’s new 8-speed Sport Automatic gearbox or the usual 6-speed manual. The third generation of the German coupe also adds a range of innovative driver assistance systems and BMW ConnectedDrive infotainment features.
