Celebrity photographer Lavan Anderson and entertainment curator Ian Callendar hosted two events this past weekend during Howard’s Homecoming in Washington, D.C. to showcase Lavan’s amazing concert photography at the magnificent Josephine Butler Park Center. “Sold Out Show” and “Eyes Wide Shut” featured impressive works such as shots of Erykah Badu, Anthony Hamilton, Ledisi and comedian Steve Harvey.
Both events had the support of Anthony Hamilton who signed his artwork and Bridget Kelly. Still, Eyes Wide Shut, a hip brunch also included Jay-Z’s new talent Bridget Kelly who hopped on the mic while Automotive Rhythms presented the luxurious Hyundai Equus touring sedan to artists, entertainers and influencers. From Raheem Devaughn to Oronde Garrett, everyone was pretty inspired by the profound and innovative inventions from the Korean automaker including its 4.6-liter V8, air suspension, 19” chrome wheels, intuitive multi-media system, and first class rear seats that massage while a cooler chills your drinks and a rear entertainment system keeps you occupied. From tailored showroom salons, to at-home test drives, to valet service appointments, the Equus customer experience is designed to exceed expectations from competing luxury brands.
