Bridgestone will be the exclusive tire supplier to the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship beginning with the 2026/27 season, the company announced today. The all-electric series is the top championship of its kind in motorsport.
For the series, Bridgestone developed the POTENZA GEN4, a tire engineered for Formula E’s particular demands. It is built to deliver strong grip, adaptability and durability, so cars can hold their performance from the opening lap to the checkered flag. Bridgestone also created a dedicated wet-weather tire, the POTENZA GEN4 for TYPHOON TIRE, designed to keep cars stable in heavy rain.
The brand recently unveiled its Formula E program at the Bridgestone Formula E World Premiere in Rome ahead of the new season.
