As part of Ford’s partnership with the multiplayer games Rocket League, where vehicles take center stage to compete in soccer matches. players will be able use a limited-edition F-150.
Ford is collaborating with Psyonix, a critically acclaimed video game developer, to create a unique F-150 and have it featured in a popular multiplayer video game.
- The Ford F-150 Rocket League Edition will be available as an in-game purchase beginning Feb. 20 through Feb. 28 and maintains the real-world styling cues and Built Ford Tough DNA of the iconic pickup.
- As part of this partnership, Ford will be the presenting sponsor of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Winter Majors esports tournament. The company will also produce spots narrated by actor Bryan Cranston aimed at gamers.
- Ford will also sponsor the Ford + Rocket League Freestyle Invitational, a judged competition where select Rocket League players show off their best in-game moves and tricks – with one lucky contestant winning a real 2021 Ford F-150.
The RLCS Winter Majors Driven By Ford continues every weekend in February and can be viewed on both Rocket League’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
