Star Motorcycles and Yamaha unveiled two new custom 2011 Star Stryker motorcycles at the New York IMS show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Both bikes were inspired by UFC fighter Diego Sanchez who graciously accepted one of the two customs directly from Star motorcycles.
The second bike will be the centerpiece for a new consumer sweepstakes promotion from Star Motorcycles with details to be announced soon. Chris Hagest of Low and Mean customs based in Lake Havasu City, Arizona customized each of the bikes.
Sanchez, who was the winner of the first season of The Ultimate Fighter reality series and currently competes as a welterweight with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, was on hand to accept his new Star Stryker at the show. “I am really excited about my new Star Stryker,” said Sanchez, “Chris has taken my direction and truly turned it into a work of art and I cannot wait to go riding!”
