It was another day in the life of Automotive Rhythms (AR) as the team integrated decisively with Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis with a cadre of Porsche vehicles for the NFL’s elite, celebrities, influencers, media personalities and corporate executives. With the weather a bit milder than anyone could have imagined, New York Giants and New England Patriots fans made their presence felt throughout downtown Indy and corresponding NFL takeover venues such as the recently-built and striking J.W. Marriott.
As with any Super Bowl there were plenty of daily activities, parties, concerts, award shows and fashionable gifting suites such as Nike and Style Icon Lounge to keep players, fans and celebrities busy. Porsche provided AR with a set of Panamera Turbo S four-door sports sedans and a pair of Cayenne S Hybrid SUVs to introduce to familiar faces and respected names. Our central focus was the San Francisco 49ers’ star TE Vernon Davis. Number 85 was the recipient of several awards and honors including a behind the scenes Super Bowl shoot with Automotive Rhythms TV as part of his activities. A Porsche fan by heart, Davis enjoyed his time in the Panamera as he pulled up to red carpets events such as the NFL Honors and the NFL Players party.
Though the big game was quite quiet, except for a few key plays that defined the Giants win and Madonna’s subpar halftime performance, the remainder of the weekend was overly exciting. Allstate presented the NFL Alumni 2012 Player of the Year Awards where legends of the past voted in outstanding players of the present. Running Back Maurice Jones-Drew from the Jacksonville Jaguars walked away with both the RB of the year and player of the year awards. Congratulations! Held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, the award show was hosted by actor Alec Baldwin. By day, AR participated in the Style Icon Lounge luxury gifting suite for celebrities and the NFL’s finest.
As an AR appreciation, we would like to thank our Audio partner Bose and everyone who connected with the Porsche Panamera Experience at Super Bowl XLVI including NaVorro Bowman (49ers), Antonio Brown (Steelers), Patrick Willis (49ers), Vernon Davis (49ers), Shannon Sharpe (NFL Hall of Famer), Antone Barnes, Adonis Spicer, Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Al Smith (NFL Alumni), Justin Forsett (Seahawks), Bonnie Jill Laflin (Lakers, Actress), Andre Wilson (Style Icon Lounge), and Ramses Barden (Giants) to name a few.
See you next year in New Orleans!
