This past weekend TOAST2 celebrated the 10th year anniversary of Automotive Rhythms with Kimatni Rawlins, and the 1st anniversary of www.IAmSuperGorge.com with Ashley B. Silva and L’Ore’al Yates. The event took place at the chic, modern restaurant Station 4, located in Southwest D.C. The hosts were seated at plush red VIP booths, adorned with the most famous cupcakes in The District of Columbia from Georgetown Cupcakes.
The hosts and their guests dined on sweet and savory dishes such as Brioche French Toast with raspberry butter, Mardi Gras Omelets with scallions and Nutella Croissants topped with fresh strawberries. Bottomless Mimosas were accompanied as a treat with brunch. Guests had the option of ordering Bai Mimosas as well, thanks to Bai, a low calorie antioxidant infused drink made from coffee fruit.
As the guests mingled and dined, they had a chance to participate in raffles to win tickets to the 2012 Washington Auto Show. Gift bags sponsored by UPTOWN magazine and Young & Reckless clothing were given out. Guests received the most current issues of UPTOWN magazine and VIBE magazine, along with bottles of Bai.
Sponsors for the prestigious TOAST2 included Beam Global Spirits and Wine Inc. and ShariatPR. Liz Osei, Beam Global’s On Premise Channel Manager, and Elly Shariat, CEO of ShariatPR joined the celebration. Other special guests included John Harter of ABC news; Chef Huda, celebrity chef and founder of Pretty and Delicious; Priscilla Clarke, CEO of Clarke & Associates; John Booty, retired NFL player; DJ Quicksilva of 93.9 WKYS, and Desiree Venn Frederic, founder of Fashion Empowering Women Foundation.
The TOAST2 brunch was a great success. Congratulations again to our hosts Kimatni Rawlins, Ashley B. Silva and L’Ore’al Yates and thanks again to all of our sponsors.
