S 1000 RR @ the BMW Group Launch
BMW Motorrad USA is entering and redefining the superbike segment with its new S 1000 RR performance bike. Pro-racer Nate Kern warmed up NJ Motorsports Park with a few hot laps on the German high-performance machine. With an engine output of 193 bhp and a vehicle mass of just 204 kilograms including fuel (183 kilograms dry, 206.5 kilograms with Race ABS) the BMW S 1000 RR offers a superb power to weight ratio, which is in turn reflected in its performance.
