Well, that’s a wrap! Mobility performance intersected with urban artistry at the 10th annual ART-of-Motion (AoM) lifestyle experience during the 2026 Washington, D.C. Auto Show. Produced by Automotive Rhythms, in partnership with Adrenaline Lifestyles and Throttle Life, the cutting-edge exhibit is a signature experience that brings the DMV’s most dynamic automotive creativity to life.

The art car vibe at the Walter E Washington Convention Center showcased the talents of the city’s most imaginative and sought-after artists. Shawn “SP the Plug” Perkins, Matt Long, Josue of the Corinto Gallery, Joel Bergner, and David Zambrano returned to entertain crowds with their paintbrush wizardry as they transformed a Toyota Corolla, Acura ADX, Ford Mach-E, Hyundai Elantra N, and a Kia K4 Wagon into mobile works of art.

The AoM gathering highlighted the influential auto and moto culture of the greater Washington, D.C. area, with participation from respected Maryland and Virginia car and bike clubs. The exhibit featured art cars painted in real time during the show, supercars, custom motorcycles, classic cars, import tuners, live DJ sets from Romeo Lewis (The Washington Commanders’ official DJ), breakdancing, and fashion boutiques. One of the most spectacular attractions on display was our Iron Man Lamborghini Huracan STO. It’s the street-legal version of the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo.

Curated by enthusiast and Automotive Rhythms publisher, Kimatni D. Rawlins, AoM united local vehicle owners, artists, and creatives who represent the pulse of the region’s car culture. To that point, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser visited the show amid a busy schedule for a guided walkthrough, including a stop at AoM. The arts are one of the tenets of the Mayoral office, so the art car exhibition aligned with her initiatives. All of AoM’s collective creators were on hand to meet Mayor Bowser and showcase the passion, craftsmanship, and community driving D.C.’s automotive scene toward an innovative future. And thank you to Bose and Michelin for the amazing gift products for our participants!

I would be remiss not to mention our key partners and collaborators who helped elevate AoM to unprecedented levels, especially Bose and Michelin, which provided gift products for our participants.

Some of our club associates included Clean Culture, MO Power, Distinct Wraps, The Barn/RSR, DMV Auto Alliance, D.A.C, VIP Auto Design, La Prima, Ronnie Race Me, Lyfe Detailing, and Modded Ambition. Specifically, DMV Auto Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uniting the DMV car community with surrounding communities and legal authorities through collaboration, education, and events that celebrate automotive culture while giving back. Lyfe Detailing, a 100% mobile detailing company serving the DMV area, kept our vehicles pristine throughout the 10-day show. They specialize in ceramic coatings, paint corrections, and full interior and exterior services with a focus on convenience and high-quality care.

Moving on to AoM’s two-wheel machines, Throttle Life proudly represented with a stunning lineup that stopped crowds in their tracks, utilizing the adrenaline-fueled presence of our Red Bull Honda CBR to the scalpel-sharp lines of the BMW S 1000 RR finished in BMW’s striking Blue Fire and Black Motorrad livery. Adding true exclusivity to the mix was our 75th Anniversary MV Agusta Superveloce—one of only 75 produced worldwide. Closing out the sportbikes was the stealthy custom Yamaha R1, aka Black Betty, that would make Batman proud.

The highlights kept coming. XDA Pro drag bike racer Ronnie Reece showed up in force with his fully carbon-fiber Suzuki GSXR, alongside the iconic 40th Anniversary ZX-14 drag bike—both built to dominate the strip. Connected Designz raised the bar with a flawlessly clean Harley-Davidson Springer and their fully custom Harley-Davidson big-wheel Road Glide, better known as the Blue Bulley, which boasts an audio system powerful enough to rival an outdoor concert.

Keeping the big-bike energy rolling, “Slimm” Frakser turned heads with his custom Harley-Davidson Road Glide trike, the FreeWheeler, blending bold style with serious street presence. Adding the sports-franchise vibe were two custom, official Washington Capitals Harley-Davidson Softails by Harley-Davidson of Washington, D.C., and Law Tigers.

And last—but definitely not least—influencer Joodie Springer and her stunt-rider husband Paul set social media on fire with their matching Harley-Davidson Springers. Paul delivered old-school attitude with motor upgrades and classic flair, while Joodie’s lowrider stole hearts with ape hangers, extended pipes, a slammed stance, and rear air-ride suspension. Oh—and let’s not forget the undeniable talk of the show, their baby chopper that had everyone smiling.

Thousands of amazed spectators pay homage to the eclectic ART-of-Motion scene each year to witness the magic in person. The 10th anniversary edition was no different. See you in 2027!
