Acura Integra Type S Hot Lap Experience at 2025 Petit Le Mans

By Kimatni D. Rawlins

Thrillingly, before the 2025 Motul Petit Le Mans kicked off media and VIP guests participated in the Acura Hot Lap Experience. Taking place at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, our Shimmering Gold-wrapped Integra Type S was pure bliss on the 2.54-mile road course.

The compact sports car is powered by an in-line 2.0-liter VTEC 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that pairs with a 6-speed manual transmission (6MT) featuring Rev-Match Control. Our pro driver handled the 320-horsepower Japanese machinery with proficiency and confidence. The Type S exterior sport appearance package, 19×9.5 Shark Gray alloy rims (NSX Type S-inspired), Michelin Pilot Sport 4S high-performance summer tires, and massive two-piece front rotors and Brembo 4-piston calipers set the tone for the vehicle’s physicality.

“Integra has fulfilled its role as the performance gateway to the Acura brand, with the youngest buyers in the segment,” said Mike Langel, assistant vice president, Acura National Sales. “The refreshed 2026 Acura Integra will continue its dominance of the premium sport compact segment with even more standard tech and sporty design upgrades.”

Developed with racing technologies in mind, the Integra Type S sits atop the Integra range as the vanguard of the compact Acura sedan family. It’s the most powerful Integra ever, focusing on handling combined with daily drivability. A 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D Premium audio system will keep occupants entertained when you are not hypnotized by the sound of the Type S-specific exhaust system.

This particular Type S is yours for $53,400. There is nothing like precision-crafted performance!
