Team Automotive Rhythms (AR) held a premium position in support of Washington Redskins’ starting running back Clinton Portis for his annual all white charity weekend held to raise money for those affected by natural disasters. Portis’ exciting weekend also served as the final pit stop for AR’s Land Rover LR4 tour, which has made its way up and down the East Coast showing off the all-new 2010 Land Rover LR4 to celebrities, pro athletes, influencers and consumers generally interested in luxury 4x4s.
Integration began Friday evening for a welcoming dinner at Ruth Chris downtown D.C. where we arranged shuttle support for actress and weekend host Elise Neal (Love Ranch, Hughleys, etc) from the luxurious boutique Donovan House Hotel. With other attending guests such as R&B sensation Raheem DeVaughn and celebrity Chef Huda, it was a perfect beginning to a wonderful all white weekend.
Next up was an elegant social at the exclusive Farmosa Lounge in Chevy Chase, MD where cameras & paparazzi went into a fury as AR brought Portis and his close friends in luxury, eloquently along the red carpet. The all white party saw the likes of singer Mya, football great Gary Clark, San Francisco Tight End Vernon Davis, 4-time Pro Bowler Edgerrin James and many more. It was a great night indeed.
On Saturday, Clinton Portis allotted Automotive Rhythms prime real estate at his McLean, VA residence for the invite only all white pool party. Placed before the red carpet once again, the LR4 become centerfold for 300+ VIPs as the entered the scene. Interaction with pro football and basketball athletes and entertainers and tastemakers accordingly allowed for a successful LR4 tour ending. To conclude the high visible weekend with Clinton Portis and the Land Rover LR4, we shuttled Elise Neal to the famous Bens Next Door (Bens Chili Bowl) before seeing her off for a flight back to LA.
