March 19th through the 26th represented a week of Professional & Amateur Cycling races at the inaugural running of the Sunshine Grand Prix in and around downtown Tampa Bay, Florida.
The Tampa Area Mazda dealers in conjunction with MNAO donated $55,300 to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital through their Mazda Drive for Good partnership. Mazda’s finance partners (Mazda Capital Services / CHASE) also were proud participants in the event and presented St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital with another check for $25,000 also in conjunction with the Mazda Drive for Good campaign. In total, $80,300 was donated to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital.
The check presentation took place at the starting line prior to the beginning of the Men’s Professional Cycling race which marked the first stop of the year for the USA Crits Championship Series. Spectators were able learn about the successful Mazda Drive for Good partnership and then able to watch some of the best professional cyclists in the country race up close and at high speeds in a spectator friendly urban atmosphere.
Way to go Mazda!
